Farrell, Farrell & Farrell PLLC accepts applications for associate positions from both law students and lateral hires. Law students are encouraged to apply for the Summer Clerkship Program. Hiring for the First Year Program is completed during the month of February. Applicants should address the application to Ashley Salyer, Office Administrator, Farrell, Farrell & Farrell PLLC, P.O. To be considered, the application must include complete transcripts for all schools attended since graduation from high school, a legal research writing sample, a current curriculum vita, and a transmittal letter which addresses the career aspirations and goals of the applicant as well as the applicant's geographical linkage to the Tri-State area served by F3.

Hiring for the Second Year Program is completed during the months of September and October. To be considered, the application must include complete transcripts for all schools attended since graduation from high school, a legal research writing sample, a current curriculum vita, and a transmittal letter which addresses the career aspirations and goals of the applicant, the non-school clerkship or other legal experiences as well as the applicant's geographical linkage to the Tri-State area served by F3.

Consideration of lateral attorney hires is always ongoing. A West Virginia law license in good standing is a prerequisite for consideration. To be considered, the application must include a letter of recommendation from a Judge in each jurisdiction where the applicant has practiced law, a letter from the Director of each State Bar where the applicant has practiced law that no ethics actions have been adjudicated, are pending or impending, complete transcripts for all schools attended since graduation from high school, a copy of each post high school diploma received, a legal research writing sample submitted to a trial or appellate court within the previous six months, a current curriculum vita, and a transmittal letter which addresses the nature of scope of the post graduate legal experiences to date, the career aspirations and goals of the applicant, the clerkship or other legal experiences during law school as well as the applicant's geographical linkage to the Tri-State area served by F3.

Consideration of legal assistant applicants is always ongoing. Nurses, college graduates interested in the law and graduates of accredited Legal Assistant programs are considered. To be considered, the application must include complete transcripts for all schools attended since graduation from high school, a legal research writing sample, a current curriculum vita which lists all employment since graduation from high school, and a transmittal letter which addresses the career aspirations and goals of the applicant, the non-school employments, internships, clerkships or other legal experiences as well as the applicant's geographical linkage to the Tri-State area served by F3.

Applicants for secretarial and other staff positions are accepted on an as needed basis. A prospective applicant should address a letter to Ashley Salyer, Office Administrator, Farrell, Farrell & Farrell PLLC, P.O. Box 6457, Huntington, WV 25772-6457. With the letter, the applicant should include complete transcripts for all schools attended since graduation from high school, a current curriculum vita which lists all employment since graduation from high school, a statement of lifetime earnings from the United States Social Security Administration and a transmittal letter which addresses the career aspirations and goals of the applicant, the non-school employments, internships, clerkships or other relevant experiences as well as the applicant's geographical linkage to the Tri-State area served by F3.
